Hailing from Montreal, Fate 2 Hate formed in 1999, rising from the ashes of Montreal's infamous street punk band, Street Troopers and the metal-edged outfit, Sekels.

Since their formation, Fate 2 Hate released their "Fight For Yourself" CD demo, followed up by a debut full length, "Iron Fist" released here on Insurgence Records. Following the departure of the original F2H vocalist, the band brought a new frontman on board in the form of ex-vocalist from Street Troopers.

The sound of Fate 2 Hate lends itself to the old school days of New York Hardcore. Some things that can be said about F2H's sound are that they are heavy, powerful, energetic with vicious vocals. Their lyrics tackle a wide range of subjects, including betrayed friendship and other social problems. Fate 2 Hate's strategy was borne out of a simple concept: Blast the audience with the heaviest sound possible while giving them something to think about.
